"We are too dark,"
Twilight whistled to the cricket
With lonely lips.
"How will I find you?
How will I embrace my beloved
When I cannot see?"

"Listen," chirped he.
And with a lover's heart
His song overwhelmed the dark
Until Twilight opened her eyes to see.
Nightly, he guides her through,
Reminding her
That even when she cannot see
She is never alone.
